About
Kirthi is a graphic designer whose practice explores identity, memory and diasporic belonging. Rooted in her own experience as a member of the Tamil diaspora, her work often examines the intergenerational impact of displacement and war. Through design, film and archival research, she creates spaces for underrepresented narratives to be seen and preserved.

Jewelcase Regular is a typeface design inspired by early 2000s CD cover and songbooks. This typeface was created over the span of one semester and included created type specimens. The specimen book was created in a CD songbook size and placed inside a jewelcase.
